| A Colorado native, Ron Christie, turned
domestic hardwoods into works of art, for years. He recently has
turned his talents toward a different medium – Alabaster ...with great
success.
The Colorado alabaster he works with is quarried outside of Fort Collins. Its basic white or pinkish color is highlighted by iron, copper, and other minerals native to the area.
